  • Legal Advocacy Fund
The Legal Advocacy Fund provides funding and a support system for women seeking judicial redress for gender discrimination. LAF has expanded to include sex discrimination in all workplaces. A primary aspect of this expansion is to build on AAUW's history of participating as amicus curiae in cases affecting women's rights. In collaboration with the public policy and governmental relations departments of AAUW, LAF will seek expanded friend of the court opportunities in cases of discrimination that disadvantage women in the workplace.

  • Public Policy
The public policy program underscores AAUW’s mission of promoting equity and education for all women and girls. The work of AAUW builds upon a century of responsible public participation. AAUW is committed to working in partnership with diverse allies.
