The Big Island has amazing diversity from the dry Kohala coast, to lush rainforests. There are so many fascinating places to visit on the Big Island, particularly the active Pu'u O'o vent of Kilauea volcano. To actually see lava oozing out of the earth is quite spectacular. Equally impressive are the beautiful botanical gardens, waterfalls and the black sand beach.
