Clarence Richard Bickner was born in Heron Lake, Minn., to Paul and Veronica (Nusser) Bickner. On Nov. 30, 1952, he married Clara NEWBERRY in Fort Collins. She died Jan. 27, 1999. He married E. Joann (DUCKER) GOODE on April 30, 2000, in Loveland. Survivors: His wife, E. Joann Goode Bickner of Loveland; a son, Russell P. Bickner and wife Mary Lou Kramer-Bickner of Windsor; a daughter, Terry Lynn Broderick and husband Brandon of Loveland; a brother, Ken Bickner of St. Paul, Minn.; three sisters, Pauline Yee, Helen Klein and Florence Manthey, all of Mankato; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Jacob Broderick, both of Santa Barbara, Calif. Interment in the Fairview Cemetery. Fredericka Bieber was born on Nov. 24, 1916, to German immigrants Peter and Fredericka Whittmier Bieber, on a homestead near Hilda, Alberta, Canada. She was the ninth of 10 children. Freida met Dave SCHLOTHAUER while he was working on a farm south of her parent's place. Dave and Freida were married in Sidney on Nov. 21, 1936. During the first year of their marriage, they lived with her parents and later shared the house with her brother George and his wife Alvina. Dave and Frieda's first two children, Donald and Kenneth, were born east of Fairview. Charlene was born in the fall of 1945 and Linda eight years later. Dave passed away in August of 1990. Freida is survived by her sister, Anna; her children, Don (Sandra), Ken (Stephanie), Harold (Loretta), Charlene Hogarty and Linda Soderlind; her grandchildren, Kelly, Vicki, Shannon, Casey, Rob, Dirk, Lonna, Michael, Kate, Cynthia, Kimberly, Erica and Dave; and her great-grandchildren, Grant, Gabriella, Xander, Brock, Ashley, Jade, BayLee, Nadia, KennaDee and Aiken. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dave, three brothers and five sisters.

Wife of George Stoppel. In 1890 she came to America with her husband. They had 11 children, seven of whom survive, with the father and her mother, who still resides in Russia and is 83 years of age, are left to mourn her departure. She was laid away to rest in the German cemetery in Russell.

When a child she came with her parents to the United States arriving at Ellsworth, on August 17, 1878. On December 15, 1898,l she was united in marriage with Fred Heinze. This happy union was blessed with seven children; two sons and five daughters of which one died in infancy. Besides the hosts of friends and acquaintances she leaves to mourn two sons, Carl Heinze living near Wilson, and Benjamin Heinze of Dorrance and four daughters, Mrs. Charles Janne living near Wilson, Mrs. Andrew Feil of Dubuque, Mrs. Edward Stoppel near Bunker HIll, and Mrs. Daniel Steinle near Dorrance. Also eleven grandchildren and four brothrs, Christ Bisterfelt of Dorrance, Karl Bisterfelt of Wilson, George Bisterfelt of Newton and William Nicholas of Tescott, and two sisters, Mrs. Adam Blehm and Mrs. Henry Miller, both of Wilson. Interment was made at the Wilson cemetery.

Margaret grew up in a family of 10, four sisters and five brothers, born to Jacob and Amelia Blehm. In 1965, she married Blaine "Bud" REINBECK in Helena. He was born in Henry, Ill., Nov. 26, 1912. He passed away in January of 1985. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Josephine "Josie" McIntosh of Billings and a son, Gary Kessler of Big Timber. She is also survived by two brothers, Jim Blehm and Don Blehm (Marjorie) of Billings. Six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren also survive. Her grandchildren are: Vikki Holsted of Paso Robles, Calif., John Kessler of Las Vegas, Arnie McIntosh of Appleton, Wis., Carol (CJ), Val and Daryl McIntosh of Billings. On Jan. 27, 1929, he married Elizabeth WEINMEISTER; they were married one month short of 78 years. Mrs. Sophia Boxberger, daughter of Henry and Maria (Becker) Schangel, was born September 6, 1876 at Kukus, Russia and departed this life on April 23, 1969 at the Hoisington. She married Jacob Johannes. In 1902 they immigrated to American and to Lincoln, Nebraska, and then to Rocky Ford, Colo. The following year her husband died at Rocky Ford and sometime later she came to Galatia, Kansas and was married to Henry Karst, also a widower. Mr. Karst also passed away on December 2, 1933. There were two daughters by her first marriage and three sons by the second marriage. With her duties as a farm wife she was also the mother to five stepdaughters along with her own children. On January 3, 1940 she was again united in marriage to Peter Boxberger at Russell. Mr. Boxberger also preceded her in death in October 1952. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Adam Nuss and Mrs. Arthur Radke at Russell; 3 sons, Sigmund Karst, Herman Karst, both of Hoisington; Alvin Karst, Hutchinson; five step-daughters, Mrs. Bertha Peil, Liberal, Kan.; Mrs. Hannah Popp, Hoisington, Mrs. Dolly Lang, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Edward Nuss, Russell and Mrs. Chris Kramer, Hoisington. A grandson, Herbert Karst, was accidentally killed WWII at Trinidad. Surviving are: 6 children.
