Martha is survived by her three children, Ruth Meisner, of Gering, Palmer and wife, Iona Schledewitz, of Branson, Mo., and Kathleen and husband, John Voris, of Carmel, Calif.; four grandchildren, Barbara Hassan, of Scottsbluff, Gordon Meisner, of Scottsbluff, Jerald (Shelly) Meisner, of Gering and Pamela Schledewitz, of Carmel, Calif.; two step granddaughters Amanda and Jessica Voris, of Carmel, Calif.; three great grandchildren Ahmad (Shannon) Hassan, of Scottsbluff, Jamie and Stacey Meisner, of Gering; three great great grandchildren R'Yanna, Adrick, and Sadrick Hassan of Scottsbluff. Dale Marvin Langhofer was born July 21, 1924, at the home of his parents near Woodbine, Kansas. Dale was inducted in the U.S. Army in May 1943. He was taken ill in France and was flown to Halloran Hospital in New York and later transferred to Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D. C. In the fall of 1946 the family moved to Abilene where he spent the remainder of his life. Burial was in the Woodbine Cemetery, Woodbine, Kansas

On January 9, 1877, he was married to Maria (Mary) Wagner, daughter of George and Anna Elizabeth Michel Wagner. She was born 8 Dec. 1855 Russia and died 13 January 1923. Both are buried in the Langhofer Cemetery on the southeast quarter of section 33 of Liberty Township in Dickinson County, Kansas. At the age of 20, Fred Langhofer, and his brother, Peter Langhofer and family came to America locating near Lyons, Kansas. The following year he was united in marriage to Mary Wagner. This union was blessed with twelve children. The mother and four children preceded the father in death. Those remaining to mourn h is passing re Mrs. Irwin Lodge, Madison, Indiana, Mrs. Jake Riffel, Mrs. Joe Riffel, Mrs. Earl Maddox, John and Jess Longhofer of Woodbine, Kansas, Dan and Rhiney Longhofer of Wichita, Kansas, besides fifty-nine grandchildren and forty-three grandchildren.

In 1874, she was married to Mr .Gottlieb Hetze. Two children, a son and a daughter were born to the union. In 1883, she, with her family came to USA. In the year 1902, she with her husband, went back to Russia. After 20 long years they returned to America to live with son, David, remaining in Okeene until the death of Mr. Hetze who died 2 years ago. To her great sorrow, David, her only son also died last Feb. Her only daughter, Mrs. D. Isaac and many friends are left to mourn. Burial was made in the Roselawn Cemetery.

He came to this country in 1875. He leaves on daughter and six sons. - Frederick. David Peter, John Peter, Julia, Jacob B., Daniel Leon, and Benjamin J. Add'l information - After Peter got sick he came back and lived with his son, Daniel's family and then with his son Frederick's family until his death. Peter married Eva Wagner, daughter of George and Anna Elizabeth Michel Wagner. She was born in Bauer, Russia, Nov. 8, 1844, and died Nov. 7, 1911 near Woodbine, Kansas. Eva and Peter are buried in the little private cemetery on the farm where they lived on the southwest quarter section 33 of Liberty Township in Dickinson County, Kansas. Peter and Eva Wagner Langhofer and their sons were the earliest Langhofer immigrant ancestors to arrive in America. They arrived in Baltimore Maryland on December 7, 1875

Two children, Clara Busch and Alex Schwab, preceded her in death. In 1940, she married Adam KELLN and moved to Shattuck, OK. He died in 1947. After several years, she married David MEIER. She married John GIVSON and bore one daughter, Rita. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers (Alexander, Gottfried, Jacob, John, Wilhelm, and Otto Laubhan) and three sisters (Hulda, Sara and Fredricka) Laubhan. She leaves to remember her one brother, Samuel Laubhan of Follett, and one sister, Helen, of Tracy, CA as well as her daughter, Rita Wall and son-in-law John Wall, and grandchildren, Alexander Robert Wall, Katherine Mary Wall, and Emily Deborah Wall of Washington, DC. With her parents, brothers and sisters, she came to Kansas. On January 1, 1892, she was united in marriage to Karl Joseph KERBS. To this union were born eight children, one of which died in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death on December 6, 1939. She was the eldest of five children of Henry and Anna (Hein) Leppke. On Oct. 1, 1933, she was married to Jacob WINTER. He died in 1951. They had one son and two daughters, Ivan, Rosalie, and Louise. On Aug. 1, 1969, she was married to Bennie UNRUH. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Jake and Bennie; daughter Louise Ann, daughter-in-law Berniece, son Ivan, son-in-law Larry Meierhoff, and sister Lillian Robertson. Survivors include her daughter, Rosalie and husband Virgil Kaiser of Augusta; daughter-in-law, Lois Winter of Florence; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer Leppke and his wife Lillian of Marion; sisters, Gladys Janzen of Hillsboro and Anna Voth of Goessel; nieces, nephews, and many friends. The second of nine children born to John and Marie (Lipsack) Lesser. In 1922, Lydia married Ray HOFFERBER, a German immigrant. After the birth of their third child of nine, Lydia was needed more around the house than in the fields. She raised two grandchildren along with her own. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Reuben and Don; a daughter, Lila; and six of her brothers and sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Alma Kramer, Joan Hofferber and Joyce Collins; three sons, Al, LeRoy and Arlen Hofferber; two sisters, Helen Hofferber and Viola Staley; 24 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 54 years; daughter Lois and sons Kenny, Randy, Scott and Richard; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
