Interment was in the Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville. Son of Edward R. and Sarah L. Stroud Radcliffe. He and Margaret SMITH were married May 12, 1923, in Arnett. He was preceded in death by his first wife in 1977. He and Edna (Cobb) Casey were married in 1978. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Chloetta F. Lust of Salem and Leona Lee Francis and her husband, Howard W., both of Centralia, Wash. He was also preceded in death by his second wife, in 1999; a daughter, Juanita Margaret Thomas in 2000, and son, Richard Dale Radcliffe in 1996. Mr. Radcliffe was also preceded in death by his only sister, Mrs. Sam Smith (Sylvia) in 1991, and a niece, Nadine Smith Schibbelhute in 1998, both of Shattuck. Mr. Radcliffe is survived by one sister-in-law, Alice Mildred Brown of Gage and a niece, Musetta Smith Elliott of Shattuck. Also two very special life long friends, Floyd and Frankie Nine, both of Gage. Mr. Radcliffe's entombment was at Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum.

David married Kathryn (Katie) MIER (MEIER/MAIER) on 12 Feb 1910 at Kraft, Russia. David served in the Russian Army for 2 years and 8 months. He, wife and infant son, Jacob, departed from Bremen, Germany on 19 Oct 1911 and arrived in the US 11 Nov 1911. They were aboard the ship SS Hannover and landed at Galveston, Texas. His brother, Heinrich (Henry) paid their boat fare. From Galveston, they went to Ft. Collins, Colorado. Henry stayed 2 weeks in the US, and returned to Russia, because he was home sick for his family. In the 1920's or early 1930's, the Russians forced Henry to dig his own grave and they shot him; reason unknown. David and family left Ft. Collins, moved to Worland, Wyoming, left there, and settled at Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He received his U.S. Citizenship on 20 April 1937 His parents were Henry Reichert and Mary Katherine Kramer

While the couple lived in the Adobe House, their son Jerry was born.  In 1946, they had a farm sale and moved to Hillsboro to operate the service station.  In 1955, they built a new home on South Main, where Lowell and Twilla were born. Survivors include her sons, Jerry and his wife Joan Jost and Lowell and his wife Eleanor Jost; daughter, Twilla and her husband Charles Siebert; two sisters-in-law, Louise Friesen and Kathryn Klassen; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, three sisters, and one granddaughter.Burial will be in Gnadenau Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren; two sisters, Hilda Michael and Luella Rein; and three brothers, Herman who died in World War II, Elmer Rein and Alvin Rein. Mr. Rein is survived by two daughters, Karla Rein of Longmont and Marceline Phlieger and her husband Everett of Russell; a grandson, Tim Phlieger of Russell; two granddaughters, Jennifer Phlieger of Russell and Kim Phlieger of Salina, Kan.; several great-grandchildren including Mandi Pauls of Thornton; three sisters, Darlene Woodson of San Diego, Helen Lockyer of Roseburg, Ore., and Marie Ford of Fort Worth, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was born April 8, 1917, at McCracken, the son of Henry and Madelna Foos Rein.. On Sept. 8, 1940, he married Rose SCHWARTZ at Bazine. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Thomas L., Topeka; a daughter, Paula J. Mounts, New York City, N.Y.; a sister, Rose Showalter, Ness City; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Alan K.; six brothers, Ed, Alec, Leo, Herman, Elmer and Henry Jr.; three sisters, Helen Akers, Molly Bruntz and Katie Bennett; and a grandson. Interment will be in Bazine Cemetery, Bazine.

Miss Rein never married, and was the elder member of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Herman, Elmer and Alvin, and one sister, Hilda Michel.
