The Saratov archives is located just a few blocks from German street in Saratov. The building inside is being refurbished with funds from the German Consult, to be completed by the spring / summer of 2002. The archive is very clean with shiny floors, well organized and cataloged. They know what they have and where everything is located.

All books at the Saratov Archives are stored on metal shelves, well braced. Everything is very clean.
